Identifying Early Modern Printed Books (IdEM B) was a Mellon-funded digital humanities project studying citation practices in early modern and book history scholarship. The project was active from 2015 to 2017, during which time we presented on our research at the Society for the History of Authorship, Reading and Publishing’s annual meeting; UVA Rare Book School’s Bibliography Among the Disciplines conference; and the University of Rochester’s DH Institute for Mid-Career Librarians. We also co-authored an article, “Identifying Early Modern Books: Challenges for Citation Practices in Book History and Early Modern Studies” that was published in Archive Journal.

While we have all moved on to other projects (and other institutions), we are leaving this site up as an archive of our activities.
